Resources for gardeners interested in promoting biodiversity

Sydney gardeners have a great blog that is a must read if you would like to promote biodiversity in your backyard garden.

Please don't use "bushrock" to create water features or other rock structures in your garden. Bush rocks provide important habitats and shelter for invertebrates, vertebrates, and plants. Quarried rock is a better alternative for gardeners, and has a smaller ecological footprint. If you are patient, over time you will see the lichens and mosses colonising the bare rocks.
